About

Hailing from the southern end the Rocky Mountains, Shaggy Peak Social Club formed when long-time Santa Fe bandmates were joined by two additional musicians, to launch a fresh band identity in 2023.
Shaggy Peak Social Cub serves up an American Roots mix of country, bluegrass, old-time, with a dash of Cajun spice; playing vintage tunes and original songs.
Club members are Ron Hale on guitar, Tom Seibel on fiddle, Woody Martin on mandolin, Monica Sweeney on banjo, and Grego Neal on bass. While taking turns at vocal lead, tight harmonies are the band's signature sound.
As the name implies, the group has unwittingly become a social club of sorts, enjoying musical possibilities, endless trivia, witty reparteé, and joy they bring to each other's lives.
At 8717 feet above sea level, Shaggy Peak is the southern most named peak of the Rocky Mountain chain.
