Hailing from the southernmost peaks of the Rocky Mountains, Shaggy Peak Social Club formed when long-time Santa Fe bandmates were joined by a couple local musicians, to launch a new band identity.

Shaggy Peak brings together the music of vintage country, bluegrass, traditional old-time and a dash of cajun spice; playing homage to musicians such as Hank Williams, Ian Tyson, The Louvin Brothers, South Carolina Broadcasters, etc. as well as original tunes.

As the name implies, the group has unwittingly become a social club of sorts, enjoying musical possibilities, endless trivia, witty repartee, and joy we bring to each other's lives. 

At 8717 feet above sea level, Shaggy Peak is the southern most named peak of the Rocky Mountain chain.​
